Associate, Sales Trainer

Job Description

As an Associate Sales Trainer, you will play a crucial role in equipping the sales team with the knowledge and skills needed to drive business success. The role will be divided into 40% onboarding for new hires and 60% upskilling and refresher training for existing employees. You will focus on sales and product trainings, ensuring the team is well-prepared to engage with clients effectively.

  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new sales hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Develop and deliver upskilling and refresher training on sales strategies and product knowledge.
  • Provide employees with skills-based, client-specific coaching and training to support achievement of operating plan targets and high customer satisfaction
  • Utilize a combination of 80% existing training materials and 20% newly developed content to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles and experience levels.
  • Monitor and assess training effectiveness, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address competency gaps and improve sales performance.
  • Analyze data and performance trends to develop and implement strategic sales plays and best practices for specific territories.
  • Track the effectiveness of training interventions through various assessment tools to identify areas for improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Preferred experience in IT SaaS industry, with a strong understanding of sales processes.
  • Proven experience in sales training, coaching, or learning & development.
  • Strong soft skills, including communication, presentation, and the ability to engage trainees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools to facilitate training sessions effectively.
  • Ability to simplify complex product knowledge for sales teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address competency gaps within the team.
  • Ability to communicate and demonstrate various strategies, platforms, and skills to varied audience
