This includes designing, developing, and delivering course content in line with the approved curriculum, as well as evaluating teaching effectiveness through structured assessments. The role also plays a critical part in advancing the university’s research agenda by maintaining an active research portfolio within their area of expertise. This includes undertaking individual or collaborative research projects and supervising postgraduate research students.</p> </div></div><div class="brxe-block col-8"><h2 class="brxe-heading primary text-m">Key Responsibilities</h2><div class="brxe-text"><p><strong>1. Teaching and Learning</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Deliver lectures, tutorials, and clinical teaching to undergraduate and/or postgraduate medical students.</li> <li>Develop, review, and update curriculum materials and teaching methods in line with MQA, MMC, and university standards.</li> <li>Supervise student assessments, clinical postings, and project work.</li> <li>Provide academic advising and mentoring to students.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>2. Research and Scholarly Activities</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Undertake independent and collaborative research in the relevant medical field.</li> <li>Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.</li> <li>Seek external research funding and grants.</li> <li>Supervise postgraduate research students (if applicable).</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>3. Clinical Services (if applicable)</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Participate in clinical duties in affiliated teaching hospitals or clinics.</li> <li>Maintain medical registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).</li> <li>Contribute to the enhancement of clinical teaching through active hospital engagement.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>4.
