Job Description

Job Summary
Responsible in overall maintenance activities and implement best practices and value-added cost control for overall maintenance operation.

Primary function

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on printing presses and label related machinery
•  Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
• Minimize downtime by quickly identifying and resolving equipment failures 
• Install and calibrate new machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance
•  Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards 
• Collaborate with production teams to improve machine efficiency and performance 
• Monitor and maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to minimize downtime 
• Identify areas for improvement in machine performance and propose enhancement 
• Train operators on basic troubleshooting and proper machine handling
• Liaise with suppliers and service providers for specialized repairs, upgrades, or troubleshooting 
• Perform others ad hoc tasks assigned by superior 

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechatronics / E&E / Mechanical Engineering 
•  Basic technical knowledge of machine maintenance & repair work
• Proven experience in managing the maintenance & facilities department will be an added advantage 
•  Ability to read technical manuals and schematics 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
