Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets to align with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Monitor the progress of on-site construction activities and ensure they align with approved plans and timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction works comply with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Identify and address construction issues, proposing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Verify that materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with contractors and consultants to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to agreed project schedules and deliverables.
  • Review and evaluate contractor claims and variations to ensure fair and accurate assessments.
  • Prepare progress reports, site inspection records, and other necessary documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on project status and risks.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
  • Identify potential risks or delays during the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues to minimize disruptions and maintain progress.

Job Requirements

  •   Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2–3 years of experience in construction, project management, or property development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Certifications:
    • Certifications in QLASSIC is a plus.
