Job Description

1. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;  
2. Provide direct day-to-day support, project management and oversight of projects, which include visiting sites and attend to queries by clients and subcontractors/third party contractors to ensure high quality work and timely completion;  
3. Assisting to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within compliance;  
4. When required, supervise and coordinate solar photovoltaic/energy efficiency installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.  
5. Attend to site inspections visits to take and collate detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of projects. Prepare report for internal record and discussion;  
6. Conduct testing and commissioning of PV systems including the setup of remote monitoring system for various systems;  
7. Assist Project Engineers to plan and schedule project tasks.  
8. Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.  
9. Monitor build progress, preparing sites before construction work begins, supervising subcontractor teams, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to ensure timely completion of projects.  
10. Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to standards and specifications and ensure technical proposals comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.  
11. Ad-hoc electrical troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks for projects sites (post-installation). 
12. In assisting lead engineers on technical direction in preparing specifications, proposals and/or contracts for projects, to amongst others  

• develop and complete system designs for PV projects (on-grid, off-grid and hybrid systems) including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of balance of system (BOS) location, interconnection details and labelling;  
• plan and design arrangement of the solar panels for PV projects such as rooftop and ground mounted and other various electrical equipment and selection of cables for plant including layouts and schematic diagrams and calculation of technical sizing; and  
• assist to work on the bill of quantity and bill of materials for each project.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team. 
• Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD or similar. 
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project-related challenges. 
• Proficiency in MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment 
• Passionate about our energy efficiency solutions and curious about the industry 
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment 
• Self-driven and proactive in finding solutions and meeting company objectives  

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS  

Formal Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, or Renewable Energy) or a related field

Work Experience : Minimum of 1 year in a similar role preferred.   

Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications :

• Fluency in English language (Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is an added bonus).  
• Proficiency in MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
• Adept at Excel for data compilation and analysis
