You will manage month‑end close, drive continuous improvement, serve as the first point of escalation for stakeholders, and ensure robust process controls and documentation.<ul><li>Reports to: Operations Manager, RTR</li><li>Location: Petaling Jaya (Hybrid)</li><li>Function: Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) – RTR</li></ul>What you’ll do?Operational Excellence &amp; Close Governance<ul><li>Own the end‑to‑end RTR calendar to meet corporate deadlines and SLA/KPI commitments. Track and analyze KPIs e.g. close timeliness, SLA attainment, reconciliation compliance, first-time-right.</li><li>Oversee journal processing, accruals, allocations, intercompany, FX revaluations, and AARO reporting.</li><li>Ensure Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Compliance Reporting are complete, accurate, and on time.</li><li>Provide oversight across specialist areas: Asset Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Tax Accounting, Treasury &amp; Cash Management, Period‑End Close, Reporting, and Audit.</li><li>Monitor daily throughput and resolve roadblocks to safeguard close timelines. Provide clear, data‑driven insights and root‑cause analyses with action plans.</li><li>Ensure adherence to Electrolux accounting policies, GFSS standards, and internal control requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date Desktop Task Procedures (DTPs), process maps, and reference materials; approve changes and ensure team compliance.</li><li>Coordinate responses to internal/external auditors and ensure timely remediation of findings.</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; People Management<ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop RTR Executives; set clear objectives and conduct performance reviews.</li><li>Manage workforce planning (hiring, onboarding, job rotation, backup coverage, and succession).</li><li>Promote a high‑performance, service‑first culture with focus on quality, ownership, and collaboration.</li></ul>Stakeholder &amp; Escalation Management<ul><li>Act as the primary contact for internal customers (markets, controllers, corporate functions).</li><li>Proactively manage escalations, communicate status and recovery plans, and run operational governance (huddles, weekly reviews, monthly performance packs).</li></ul>Continuous Improvement &amp; Transformation<ul><li>Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate RTR processes; quantify benefits and track outcomes.</li><li>Lead or sponsor Lean/Six Sigma initiatives; share best practices across GFSS streams (OTC, PTP, RTR).</li><li>Plan and oversee knowledge transfer during transitions; support ERP/process changes (incl. UAT and cut‑over).</li></ul>Others<ul><li>Any other duties as required, that can generally be expected from Operations Manager, RTR.</li></ul>Who you are?<ul><li>Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in RTR/ General Ledger, month‑end close, and balance sheet governance — preferably in a Shared Services or multinational environment.</li><li>Supervisory experience leading a medium‑sized team with measurable outcomes.</li><li>Exposure to specialist domains (Asset, Inventory, Tax, Treasury), audit management, and transition/ERP implementation (incl.
