Job Description

•  Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Utilize advanced design software and tools to create innovative solutions.
• Review and approve design calculations and technical documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for design-related matters and statutory application & approval.
• Understand design requirements and translate them into engineering solutions.
• Present design proposals and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative working environment within the project team.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate civil designs with architectural and MEP systems.
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct thorough reviews of design deliverables to maintain high-quality standards.
• Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and omissions.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with design solutions.
• Develop mitigation strategies to address technical, schedule, and budget risks.
• Proactively communicate risks to project stakeholders and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in civil engineering design.
• Participate in professional development activities and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of design methodologies and tools.

Job Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on infrastructure and building projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
