Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and contract documentation. 
• Support cost estimation, budgeting, and quantity take-offs for construction projects. 
• Assist in preparing progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts. 
• Conduct site measurements, site valuations, and quantity verification. 
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding project progress and cost matters. 
• Assist in monitoring project costs and ensuring expenditure is within the approved budget. 
• Prepare cost reports, variation orders, and supporting documentation. 
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of project records. 
• Participate in site visits to gain practical exposure to construction progress and contract administration. 
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field. 
• Internship placement required by the university or college. 
• Basic knowledge of construction contracts, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). 
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, CostX, or other QS software is an added advantage. 
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Willing to learn and work both independently and as part of a team.
