Drive best practice daily through high standards of engineering, compliance and HS&amp;E standards.<h1>Job Description</h1>Essential Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform daily monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment/ systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair of manufacturing and utility equipment/systems such as pumps, motors, control valves and cylinder.</li><li>Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets.</li><li>Required to do other maintenance work such as general repair, carpentry, electrical and plumbing works according to standard.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors on works according to schedule maintenance, repair, shut down and overhaul works.</li><li>Ensure maintenance work done comply to local regulatory, corporate safety and industrial standards.</li><li>Able to provide simple report on downtime and ensure action follow up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns. Ensure all documentation and data is complete, accurate and current.</li><li>Support the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in the identification and procurement of parts required for maintenance.</li><li>Keep track of spare part and inventory usage to maintain spare part/inventory control.</li><li>Assist Engineers in carrying out engineering evaluations/experiments/ troubleshooting.</li><li>Provide feedback and give suggestions to improve equipment stability and performance.</li><li>Participate and contribute actively in continuous improvement activities.</li><li>Provide support in the service, repair and maintenance of all facilities including compressor, chiller, Fire prevention system, and HVAC.</li><li>Ensure that maintenance cover for production areas is provided at all times by demonstrating flexibility regarding working overtime to provide cover for holidays, sick leave, shutdown periods, busy periods and as required.</li><li>Assist new colleagues on their On-the-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.</li><li>Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in the production and maintenance support areas.</li><li>Respond to emergency calls for any troubleshooting required at site.</li><li>Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.</li></ul>Qualifications / Requirements:<ul><li>Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a maintenance technician or skilled trade within a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, as required.</li><li>Preferable have professional license or certification in one of the following areas; Electrician, HVAC, Plumber/Pipefitter, Automation/Controls, Machining, Welding.</li><li>Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word &amp; Excel applications.</li><li>Basic knowledge in PLC and its trouble shooting will be added advantage</li></ul>Desired Characteristics:<ul><li>Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn</li><li>Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively</li><li>Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative</li><li>Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker</li></ul><h1>Additional Information</h1><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Relocation Assistance Provided: No</div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
