A medical device / biomedical manufacturing company producing high-precision or regulated-quality products. The production environment includes packaging cleanly, safely, under applicable standards (e.g. ISO 13485, GMP), ensuring product integrity for domestic and export markets.

Position Summary

This vacancy is for a packaging operator that will assist with the packaging and labeling activities at the company. This includes preparing, labeling and shrink wrap products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). The operator will also serve as an assistant to production technicians in the cleanroom, wiping down trays, taking inventory and helping with other production activities as required. All training will be provided. 

Responsibility:

• Perform product packaging activities such as labeling, folding, and shrink-wrapping according to SOPs and quality requirements.
• Operate basic packaging equipment (e.g., shrink-wrapping machine).
• Verify product details, labels, and batch numbers against products before packaging.
• Pack labeled products into boxes and cartons neatly and correctly. 
• Ensure attention to detail at every stage of packaging to prevent mix-ups or errors. 
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Check and record the stock of products and packaging materials.
• Report the use of packaging materials when needed. 
• Prepare and handle packaging materials in the cleanroom (e.g., wiping down and preparing trays). 
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by the production team

Job Requirements

• Minimum: School leaving certificate or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years’ work experience required
• Must demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding SOP’s, filling in forms, and must have good attention to detail.
• Preferably with diverse skillset and willingness to learn.
• Good spoken & written English skills are required.
