Job Description

• Manage both direct and indirect tax compliance matters of LBS Group for both Malaysian and overseas entities ensuring compliance. 
• Prepare / review transfer pricing (“TP”) documentation and assist in the implementation of TP requirements on related companies’ transactions. 
• Support Accounts team on tax provision calculation. 
• Liaise with tax authorities, government agencies, tax consultants and other external parties on all tax matters for the Malaysian and overseas entities within LBS Group. 
• Assist business / operating units on the tax implications from new business structure / transactions. 
• Handle tax audits and queries from tax administration on as-needed basis. 
• Follow up on findings from tax audits and advise required changes for improving tax compliance status

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy / Commerce Accounting / Finance / Professional Qualifications (ACCA, CTIM, CPA or CIMA) or equivalent from a recognized institution 
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a tax / accounting / commercial firm. Experience in property development industry is an added advantage 
• Knowledge in IFCA software will be an added advantage 
• Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese – both verbal & written 
• Possess an analytical mind and curious nature, meticulous, committed, and willing to learn. 
• Able to build good rapport internally and externally. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and good time management is expected.
