Senior Client Manager (Media & Advertising)

Job Description

INFLUASIA is hiring a Senior Client Manager — a sales driven role where you'll build and maintain strong client relationships, drive revenue growth, and deliver impactful media and marketing solutions. As the main point of contact for key accounts, you'll manage the full sales cycle, ensure client satisfaction, and contribute directly to business growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact. Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives, industry trends, and challenges. Regularly engage with clients to identify opportunities, address concerns, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  2. Account Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic account plans aligned with client objectives and business goals. Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to proactively drive account development.
  3. Solution Delivery: Work closely with internal teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet client requirements. Coordinate with project managers, technical experts, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects and initiatives. Monitor service quality and address any issues or challenges that may arise.
  4. Financial Management: Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and increase client spend. Monitor and manage client budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial targets. Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  5. Contract and Agreement Management: Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with legal and finance teams. Ensure contracts are aligned with client expectations and internal policies. Proactively address contract-related issues, such as scope changes, billing discrepancies, and compliance matters.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and support, to drive client success. Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior client managers, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
  7. Client Reporting and Analytics: Develop and deliver regular reports to clients, providing insights on performance, project status, and key metrics. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, optimize strategies, and make data-driven recommendations to improve client outcomes.
  8. Industry Knowledge and Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Participate in industry conferences, forums, and events to enhance knowledge and establish the company as a thought leader. Share insights and expertise with clients to add value and build credibility

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in client management, account management, or sales roles, preferably within the same industry or sector.
  3. Strong understanding of client relationship management principles and practices.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
  7. Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  8. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive insights.
  9. Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
  10. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  11. Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
