Job Description


Join NOODOU’s video team as a Video Producer and bring fresh ideas to life! From planning and coordinating shoots to supporting on-set execution, you’ll play a key role in shaping our Mandarin-language digital content for the Gen Z audience. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Content Ideation and Pre-Production

  • Assist in developing creative and engaging video concepts for in-house content, campaigns, and sponsored projects.  
  • Conduct basic research on current video trends and audience behaviour to contribute to content planning.  
  • Prepare storyboards, scripts, call sheets, and production plans.
  • Support pre-production tasks such as talent scouting, location scouting, scheduling, and organizing equipment. 

2. Video Production

  • Act as both behind-the-scenes support and on-screen talent to bring video ideas to life.
  • Assist in filming, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and audio quality.
  • Manage logistics and ensure smooth execution during shoots.

3. Post-Production Support

  • (Optional / Bonus) Assist with simple video editing or review drafts if you have editing skills.  
  • Help coordinate feedback, ensure revisions are tracked, and support the team in meeting deadlines. 

4. Trend Analysis and Content Innovation

  • Monitor and analyze content and video trends across platforms such as XiaoHongShu, Douyin, TikTok, and Instagram.  
  • Suggest fresh ideas and formats inspired by trending styles and audience preferences. 

5. Project Coordination

  • Manage shoot schedules, team communications, and production timelines.  
  • Ensure all production equipment and resources are well-prepared and maintained. 
  • Support smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners. 

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Comfortable and enthusiastic about being on-screen talent, with a natural presence in front of the camera.
  • Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording is a plus.
  • Strong interest in video trends, especially on platforms like XiaoHongShu, Douyin, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Creative, with a good sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
