Job Summary

Working with us at INGENIOUS WORKS INTERNATIONAL (M) SDN BHD gives you on-site exposure to electrical installation, testing, and commissioning under experienced mentors.

This internship is about building practical skills. You will support installation and wiring on live sites, assist with testing and commissioning, and maintain clear project records so systems operate reliably.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Site Support & Field Work

• You will support engineers and supervisors in executing electrical installation and wiring tasks at construction sites.
• You will travel to project sites, follow on-site safety procedures, and adapt to a fast-paced construction environment.

Testing, Inspection & Commissioning

• You will take part in site inspections, assist with basic testing, and help during commissioning under supervision.
• You will record test results and report any issues promptly to your supervisor.

Documentation & Coordination

• You will prepare and maintain engineering documentation, daily reports, and project records.
• You will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers as directed, and perform other engineering-related tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• You are currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor‘s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• You are available for a 3 to 6 month internship (Working hour: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM.)
• You have your own transportation and are willing to travel to project sites when required.
• You possess a valid CIDB Green Card or are willing to obtain one before reporting for duty.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• You have basic knowledge of electrical installation, wiring, and reading schematics, or you are eager to develop these skills on site.
• You understand or are willing to learn site testing and commissioning fundamentals.
• You can use MS Office to prepare reports and maintain project records.
