Ingram Micro as Global Distributor trades with a large customer pool across multiple countries in a sector exposed to substantial credit risks.The successful candidate combines proactive ownership of deep-dive financial and deal-structure analyses with meticulous attention to detail. They are natural communicators – asking the right questions, listening closely, and sharing insights openly with key stakeholders to build genuine trust and alignment. Equally comfortable crunching numbers or exploring new tools and methodologies, they continually sharpen their risk assessments and, through open dialogue and collaboration, elevate the entire team’s performance.KEY DELIVERABLES:Credit Assessment<ul><li>Conduct deep-dive analyses of financials, trading history, deal structures, and contractual terms for short- and long-term deals.</li><li>Deep understanding of financials and balance between commercial sense, credit risk, and customer need; and identify emerging credit trends and design mitigation strategies or risk-transfer solutions.</li><li>Deliver comprehensive credit reports with concise, approval-ready recommendations.</li><li>Partner with key stakeholders to refine and augment the internal credit-risk rating model for short- and long-term deals.</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Communication<ul><li>Engage actively with country credit teams through regular meetings to gather critical information, share insights, and ensure alignment on risk assessments and customer exposure.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison across departments and credit teams globally, fostering strong relationships to accelerate decision-making and drive business outcomes.</li></ul>Monitoring &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Proactively track portfolio performance and credit results; maintain and update the portfolio database.</li><li>Produce periodic management reports for long-term deals that highlight credit results, credit trends, risk mitigation actions, and profitability insights.</li></ul>System &amp; Ad-Hoc Support<ul><li>Facilitate system regional rollouts and migrations by partnering with the IT team and the key stakeholders to design, build, and UAT for the new systems; coordinate planning and execution; drive stakeholder communications; and validate end-to-end system functionality.</li><li>Embrace short-notice assignments and quickly adapt new knowledge to meet evolving business needs.</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>At least 4-7 years of experience in credit analysis from an MNC organization will be an added advantage.</li><li>Embraces change, particularly in new ways of working, and understands the best way to operate in a transforming digital business (i.e., curious, challenges the status quo, adaptable, growth mindset, analytical, knows how to harness the solutions and data at their disposal)</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cultural differences and sensitivity.</li><li>Demonstrate critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills, supported by solid experience in data analytics.</li><li>SAP knowledge is an advantage.</li><li>Experience with credit insurance is an asset.</li><li>Excellent command of English and the ability to understand the Chinese language would be an advantage.</li></ul>
