Job Purpose

To develop technical and structural design solutions for point-of-sale materials (POSM), retail display units, and event activation setups. The role ensures structural feasibility, cost-efficiency, and readiness for production execution, while aligning with campaign objectives and brand requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design structural layouts, dielines, and exploded-view technical drawings for POSM formats such as FSDUs, CTUs, shelf trays, and temporary displays.
• Translate creative briefs and sketches into 3D visualizations and technical drawings for client or production use.
• Liaise with internal teams (Creative, Client Servicing, Production, Procurement) to ensure clarity of structure, material use, and execution plans.
• Revise designs based on feasibility feedback, cost constraints, or material compatibility.
• Participate in physical prototyping, mockup builds, and on-site installation assessments.
• Ensure accuracy of measurements, folding logic, material call-outs, and structural annotations in all files.
• Maintain organized dieline libraries, versioned files, and project archives in shared servers.
• Focus strictly on structure and form; final visual layout and print formatting are managed by DTP Artists.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Structural Design, Product Design, or related field.
• 1 to 5 years of working experience in packaging design, POSM structure, or display engineering.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and basic 3D tools (e.g. ArtiosCAD, SketchUp, KeyShot).
• Familiar with materials such as corrugated board, foam board, acrylic, metal, PVC, and their behavior during production.
• Good understanding of construction flow, die-cut logic, and print prep requirements.
• Ability to speak and read Mandarin is required for communication with Chinese-speaking suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong attention to structural detail, accuracy, and delivery timelines.
