The person we're looking for

You are a marketing whiz who is creative, positive, and have a ”can-do” attitude. You are also a great team player, responsible, reliable and open to new ideas. You are used to working efficiently according to a timeline drafted while driving multiple projects. You work well both on your own as well as in teams, and aspire to contribute to the overall goals of the company.

In this role, you will

• Strategise: Build a data-driven, customer centric strategy to work with creators across platforms.
• Engage: Incentivise creators and provide them value to deepen their engagement with Joey Mattress and encourage distribution throughout their networks.
• Partner: Forge relationships with all of our incredible content creators as their point of contact at Joey Mattress.
• Collaborate: Align our creator efforts with broader marketing campaigns, product roadmaps and company-wide goals; Get creative with creators to make unique and engaging content.
• Optimise: Explore the gaps and opportunities to continuously improve campaign performance.
• Promote: Proactively promote stories and other publicity opportunities that are advantageous to Joey Mattress.

You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, Joey Tan.

This position requires

• 1-3 years of experience in a marketing, advertising, and/or creative agency. Exceptions would be made for fresh grads with a strong portfolio/resume
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, PR, or equivalent
• Passionate about the world of creators and excited to find ways to support every creator out there
• Deeply interested in visual storytelling, marketing/advertising, pop culture, and design
• Strong execution mindset - we're moving fast and there is a lot to do every day. You don't mind getting scrappy and going above and beyond.
• Strong project and time management skills
• Fluent oral communication skills in English, plus either Mandarin or Malay (both would be a plus)
• Desire to continue to grow skillset with ongoing education and training

Job Requirements

This position requires

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, PR, or equivalent
• An understanding of Joey Mattress’ voice no matter where you’re writing, and adapting the tone of our voice to the customer you’re speaking to or platform on which you’re writing.
• A passion for writing.
• Overall knowledge and experience of major digital marketing strategies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, plus either Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments within deadline.
