Job Overview

The QA Automation Tester is responsible for identifying and reporting defects or bugs in software applications to ensure that they meet the requirements and quality standards during Juris projects, enhancements, or defect fixes. You will be expected to master the Juris software solution suite with the scenarios of the process flows and the requirements given by Juris' customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Planning and preparing test cases and test scenarios based on the project requirements and specifications
• Executing test cases and scripts to identify defects or bugs in the software.
• Reporting defects or bugs found during the testing process to the development team and tracking them until they are resolved
• Collaborating with the development team to identify the root cause of defects and assist in fixing them
• Conducting functional, integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure that the software is meeting quality standards
• Participating in code reviews and suggesting improvements to the development team  
• Developing and maintaining test plans, test reports, and other documentation related to the testing process
• Providing feedback to project managers and stakeholders on the software's quality and testing progress
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
• Experienced hire with leadership capabilities may have the opportunity to guide and mentor team members. 

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience creating and executing automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing
• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing and test automation
• Proficiency in Katalon Studio is required, with additional experience in other automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, or Playwright considered an advantage
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2 years focused on test automation
• Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing tools for conducting load, stress, and endurance testing
• Strong understanding of automation best practices, test design patterns, and framework architecture
• Analytical and logical mind with knowledge about programming concepts
• Skills in Structure Query Language (SQL), PHP, PL/SQL is added advantage
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Required language: English
• 2+ years of working experience in related field
