This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization in the FMCG and food distribution sector, where finance plays a critical role in supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. 

<ul>
<li>Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, Cash Flow and taxes&nbsp;</li>
<li>Assist the Head of Finance in coordinating period-end closing activities in compliance with statutory requirements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Assist in the preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Review journal entries for company accounts ensuring information is accurate and up to date, including deferred taxation&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Reconcile balance sheet and income statements; research more complex discrepancies and determine the appropriate course of action&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Prepare monthly cash flow and cash flow projections to management&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions for working capital and assets financing.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Develops and improve spreadsheets for account analysis and journal entries to keep records organised and standardised.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;You will also be involved in ensuring strong internal controls and overseeing improvements within the team.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Participate in system updates and internal control activities.• You will also be working with external and internal audit teams for yearly audit planning and managing relevant requests/queries related to the audit.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Manage enquiries from tax consultants, bankers and statutory boards.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Responsible for staff (Travel &amp; Expenditure) claims which includes reviewing and approving the claims before reimbursements&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Conduct and coordinate month-end closing activities with related departments.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Generate, review and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Coordinate and work with external auditor for annual financial statements audit&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Identify, design and implement accounting processes and contents for new accounting standards/regulations and new business initiatives.&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Improve and automate current accounting controls and processes by collaborating with Information Technology team&nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;Other accounting/finance functions/missions business may require</li>
</ul>
