WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Digital Marketing Intern, your responsibilities will include:
1) Content Creation and Editing

• Assist with creating content for distribution on Kualesa’s marketing channels (e.g. organic social media posts and paid advertising).
• Includes shooting content during photoshoots/videoshoots with smartphones.
• Includes using graphic design best practices when editing images and using platforms such as Canva / Photoshop.
• Includes video editing footage into short-form videos using tools such as Canva / Capcut / Premiere Pro.
• Research and stay updated on the latest social media trends across Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok to keep Kualesa ahead of the curve.

2) Photoshoot & Videoshoot Support

• Assist with shoot operations, logistics and procurement of props and set items.
• Assist with pre-production planning (e.g. moodboards and script writing).

3) Email Marketing Support

• Assist in drafting campaign emails, ensuring Kualesa’s brand voice and style are reflected.
• Includes writing engaging copy and assisting in designing visuals for hero and body images.

4) Ad Hoc Support

• Support the marketing team with ad hoc marketing initiatives.
• Support during brand partnership / collaboration event activations.
  
  
  WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
• Work closely with the founders and Senior Marketing Executive
• To report directly to our Senior Marketing Executive.
• Work closely with our Founder & CEO.
• Formal performance reviews will occur once every quarter.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Current (or recently graduated) student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, or Public Relations.
• Design experience using software such as Canva / Photoshop.
• Basic video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar tools).
• Responsible for own transport (Office based in Ampang, KL).
• A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to commit to this internship for at least 3-6 months.
