Business Analyst Intern
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern to support our legal, compliance, and regulatory functions within a regulated fintech and crowdfunding environment.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to regulatory analysis, compliance documentation, internal controls, and cross-functional coordination, making it suitable for students interested in fintech, regulation, risk, compliance, or business operations.
Key Responsibilities
(a) <ins>Regulatory &amp; Business Analysis Support</ins>
<ul>
<li>Assist in researching and analysing regulatory requirements, guidelines, and industry updates relevant to fintech and capital markets.</li>
<li>Support the team in tracking regulatory developments, consultations, and compliance-related changes.</li>
<li>Help document regulatory requirements and translate them into business-friendly summaries.</li>
</ul>
(b) <ins>Compliance &amp; Documentation Support</ins>
<ul>
<li>Assist in preparing, organising, and maintaining compliance documentation, internal policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Support reviews of internal materials, disclosures, and operational documents from a compliance perspective.</li>
<li>Help ensure documentation is up to date and properly version-controlled.</li>
</ul>
(c) <ins>Process &amp; Controls Analysis</ins>
<ul>
<li>Support compliance monitoring activities by assisting with data collection, gap analysis, and tracking remediation actions.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing basic reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.</li>
<li>Help track audit findings, action items, and follow-ups.</li>
</ul>
(d) <ins>Cross-functional Coordination</ins>
<ul>
<li>Work with internal teams (Operations, Product, Risk, Tech) to gather information required for compliance or regulatory purposes.</li>
<li>Assist in coordinating internal reviews, audits, or regulatory-related requests.</li>
</ul>
(e) <ins>General Support</ins>
<ul>
<li>Provide administrative and analytical support to the Legal &amp; Compliance / Operations team as needed.</li>
</ul>
