Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to bridge the gap between technology and business. This role requires someone with both technical expertise and strong sales skills to understand client needs, recommend tailored solutions, and drive business growth. You will work closely with clients, product teams, and business development managers to ensure solutions meet both technical and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities by understanding client requirements.
     
  • Present and demonstrate technical solutions to clients in a clear and compelling way.
     
  • Collaborate with business development teams to craft proposals, quotations, and RFP responses.
     
  • Provide technical consultancy during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
     
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring trust and satisfaction.
     
  • Work with internal product/technical teams to customize solutions as per client needs.
     
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
     
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
     
  • Provide training or technical guidance to clients when required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
     
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales consulting, or solution selling.
     
  • Strong understanding of ICT, software, or digital solutions (depending on company focus).
     
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
     
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple business terms.
     
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
     
  • Strong problem-solving and client engagement skills.
     
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
