Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

We are looking for a Corporate Account Manager to oversee the relationships of Maxis with its corporate vertical. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements.

The ideal candidate will be able in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our Maxis’ solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

What are you accountable for?

  • Identify opportunities to grow business within the existing account portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients in the manufacturing sector.
  • Develop client-specific strategies to address their requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure KPI and goals of the assigned accounts in the portfolio are met.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping company information and tender confidential.
  • Ensure pipeline in CRM are diligently updated – consistently putting new opportunities week on week and progressing the opportunity sales motion from creation to closing.
  • Develop comprehensive opportunity plans for all assigned customers.
  • Orchestrate communication and collaboration between cross functional Maxis team and customers.
  • Accountable on driving every opportunity to closure with a close plan.
  • Keeping track of all post sales activities with timely delivery.
  • Working closely with Solution Sales Specialists and identifying new solutions for all assigned customers for sustainable account growth.

What do you need for this role?

  • Proven track record of 5+ years in account management, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Open to consider other industries too.
  • With relevant experience in Solutions selling.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry-specific challenges.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent sales performance track record.
  • Telco experience is an added advantage.
  • Personal traits: Positive, passionate, collaborative, ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment and a team player.
