Job Description

 

  • To be responsible on sourcing products, goods, material based on company requirement
  • To ensure that all products are meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • To keep track of order status by using the schedule, updating schedule into internal data base.
  • To do daily inventory level and monitoring
  • To ensure timely restocking of items and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • To coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment bookings
  • To prepare necessary documents of payments
  • To prepare report of costing, purchases including cost analysis
  • Pallet movement monitoring within warehouse& supplier
  • Stock aging monitoring and highlight to sales team
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with Warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • Supplier claim monitoring for damaged and defected item during and after receiving
  • Application for SIRIM permit for import shipment
  • Costing calculation and selling price update
  • Any ad hoc job when required

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Executive, Procurement Officer, or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and procurement tools.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a procurement role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards and attention to compliance.
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Malay
