Role Summary

Service technician installs and services commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites, and serves as the technical link between customers, our sales support team and overseas principals. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, test, commission and service commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
2. Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and modify equipment at customer sites.
3. Attend service calls and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
4. Liaise with overseas factories on technical support, warranty and product issues, including meetings outside standard hours.
5. Prepare spare parts recommendations and repair quotations with the sales support team.
6. Provide technical consultation and after-sales support to customers.
7. Spot sales opportunities during service visits and recommend equipment or upgrades.
8. Maintain strong customer relationships through regular service visits and support.
9. Attend product training and exhibitions, and support product demonstrations.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years repairing equipment — kitchen, laundry, fridge or aircon experience preferred. Fresh graduates who are good with their hands are welcome to apply.
• Working knowledge of electrical, gas and refrigeration systems
• Own a valid driving licence and willing to travel outstation
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English; comfortable corresponding with overseas suppliers in written English
• Willing to join occasional calls with overseas suppliers outside working hours
• Friendly with customers and able to explain problems in simple word
