Job Specifications:
<ul>
<li>Repair and maintain dies and tooling used in extrusion production.</li>
<li>Coordinate with die maker/supplier to ensure die design and quality meet product specifications and production targets.</li>
<li>Prepare dies and tooling based on extrusion production schedule and sales orders from the Planning Department.</li>
<li>Monitor die performance and maintain accurate die usage records (e.g., number of shots, recovery, linear weight) in Die Cards.</li>
<li>Conduct die washing and die nitriding operations as needed and keep proper records of each nitriding cycle.</li>
<li>Update die and tooling inventory on a monthly basis.</li>
<li>Analyse operating supplies usage and prepare monthly report to reduce losses/consumption.</li>
<li>Provide continuous recommendations and corrective actions to improve die and tooling performance.</li>
<li>Attend weekly and monthly operations meetings.</li>
<li>Conduct weekly inspections of assigned areas.</li>
<li>Assist manager in preparing the annual CAPEX (capital expenditure) budget.</li>
<li>Ensure sufficient operational supplies for production.</li>
<li>Delegate tasks, manage workers’ overtime, monitor team performance and productivity.</li>
<li>Maintain worker discipline and provide job briefings and training.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with legal, operational SOPs and safety requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace.</li>
<li>Control, guide, and motivate the team to meet quality and quantity targets.</li>
<li>Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.</li>
</ul>
