Job Description

We are building a modern 3D Print Production Farm and looking for a Technical Operator (3D Printing) to join our team. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining multiple 3D printers, ensuring smooth production, consistent quality, and efficient workflow.

This role is hands-on and suitable for candidates with technical, mechanical, electrical, IT hardware, CNC, or machine-operator backgrounds. No 3D printing experience required — full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a fleet of 3D printers (Bambu Lab series) 
• Prepare and start print jobs according to production schedule 
• Change filaments, plates, and basic consumable parts 
• Troubleshoot print failures and perform minor mechanical fixes 
• Carry out daily/weekly maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, calibration) 
• Perform quality checks using tools such as calipers and gauges 
• Label, sort, and pack finished printed items 
• Maintain organised filament inventory and production records 
• Ensure safe operation and follow machine SOPs 
• Assist in improving workflow, print quality, and machine uptime

Job Requirements

 Requirements

• Background in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics, CNC operation, IT hardware repair, manufacturing, or any technical/hand-on field 
• Comfortable working with machines, tools, and equipment 
• Able to troubleshoot issues logically and systematically 
• Good attention to detail and quality control 
• Basic computer literacy (Windows, file management) 
• Physically able to stand for long periods and handle multi-tier racks 
• Reliable, disciplined, and able to follow SOPs independently 

Nice-to-Have (Optional)

• Experience with 3D printing (FDM) 
• Familiarity with Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer 
• Basic CAD skills (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender) 
• Prior QC/inspection experience in manufacturing
