Job Description

We are inviting applications for the position of Primary School Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one or more of the following subjects:

• English
• Mathematics
• Science
• Malay Language
• Humanities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement structured lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum
• Conduct lessons effectively and carry out daily marking of students’ work
• Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, and compile student progress reports
• Supervise students during assigned duties and ensure their well-being and discipline
• Maintain a conducive classroom environment and manage student behaviour appropriately
• Communicate with parents or guardians when necessary regarding student progress and concerns
• Participate and assist in school activities, events, and programmes as required
  

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Degree in Education or a related discipline is preferred
• Relevant teaching experience, particularly with the Cambridge syllabus, will be an advantage
• Proficiency in English and Malay (both written and spoken)
   

Essential Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom and student management abilities
• Competency in basic computer applications, including word processing and document preparation
