Job Description

As an Architectural Designer or Graduate Architect at SBSS, you will assist in design development and technical coordination of residential and boutique commercial projects. This role requires agility in handling multiple projects, attention to detail, and the ability to bridge design with construction feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural concepts and schematic designs.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with the Interior Design team to integrate architectural details into interior spaces.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
• Support project coordination with consultants, engineers, and contractors.
• Research materials, construction methods, and sustainability solutions for projects.
• Assist in obtaining approvals and ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least LAM Part 1 Degree in Architecture.
• Applicants with 1-2 years working experience in Architecture, design-build, or interior design-related fields will be prioritized; fresh graduates are acceptable.
• A profound interest in all aspects of architectural design is essential.
• Those with individual housing experience or design-build experience would be preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong willingness to learn to be an independent problem solver.
• Experience in using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and rendering software.
• Able to deliver ideas and present fluently.
