Job Purposes

The Data Analyst works with various types of donor data to provide analysis and insight to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

The output from the role helps inform decision making of both SG Support as well as charity clients towards achieving their strategic targets and goals.

Responsibilities

Donor Insight / Data Analysis

• Solves analytics problems and communicates results by creating engaging reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Explores the data to discover patterns, insights, relationships and trends that are meaningful to the business.
• Develops experimental approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses.

Communications / Presentations

• Presents and depicts findings to clients, their client relationship managers on the insights you have found in an engaging and easy to understand manner.
• Collaborates with Client Account Managers to run client presentations effectively.
• You will be an integral part of the team that runs INSIGHTFUL conferences in both a supporting as well as presenter role.

Monitoring, Reporting and Support

• Day-to-day performance tracking and assessment of relevant data points, updating/refreshing/maintenance of reports and supporting requests for data/analytics from various stakeholders.

Ad-hoc Projects

• May be involved in projects / research / experiments initiated by the INSGHT team or deployed to support other teams to reach their project goals.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Educated to Bachelors Degree or higher, or with relevant experience or training/certification.
• Minimum 1years working experience in a related field. You will need to demonstrate that you are skilled in MS Power BI (or similar business intelligence platform) and MS Excel to at least an intermediate level for data analysis.
• Ability to translate analysis to business-level visualisations for general consumption.
• Ability to collect and assess information rapidly, and identify insights and conclusions.
• Ability to present and influence at a range of seniority levels.
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, Javascript, R is a plus.
