Job Description

  1. Create weekly and monthly performance reports to show progress on performances of each campaign using Excel and PowerBI.
  2. Assess data quality, clean and standardize data from several sources.
  3. Identify errors and propose solutions.
  4. Analyze data with Excel, PowerBI, and any other relevant statistical or analytical tools to identify patterns and insights for performance and process improvement
  5. Present data and reports in suitable templates / dashboards / scorecards and metrics
  6. Prepare reports with insights and findings by building a story line with the right data visuals and be ready to present to various level of stakeholders
  7. Maintain and update data as necessary
  8. Perform Ad-hoc data gathering and analysis to support sales and marketing teams.

Job Requirements

  1. Proven ability to perform data analysis tasks, evidenced by relevant university projects, final year projects, internships, or a robust portfolio showcasing analytical skills.
  2. ⁠Mandatory Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and proven expertise in creating interactive reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  3. ⁠Database & Querying Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of handling datasets and relational databases, specifically with advanced proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries).
  4. ⁠Data Methodology: Familiarity with concepts and processes for managing databases and data warehousing.
  5. ⁠Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to assess data requirements and mitigate potential data-related risks.
  6. Communication & Translation: High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
  7. Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical discipline; preferably from a Local University (UM, USM, UKM, UPM, & UTM) with a CGPA of 3.5 and above.
