Job Description

  • Possess deep expertise in both backend development and DevOps domains, serving as the go-to person for technical requirements and design decisions in both areas.
  • Identify, plan, and execute initiatives to enhance delivery processes and efficiency, encompassing both backend development and DevOps practices.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration efforts engineering teams to achieve shared goals and milestones seamlessly.
  • Contribute actively to code reviews, offering constructive feedback and mentorship to team members in both backend and DevOps disciplines.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions and design reviews, fostering expertise in both backend development and DevOps practices.
  • Effectively communicate technical decisions through documentation, tech talks, and knowledge sharing platforms.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, our infrastructure, and build systems, ensuring our technology stack remains cutting-edge in both backend and DevOps domains.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges in requirements, facilitating early resolution and course correction.
  • Continuously scale personal effectiveness and influence within the team and organization.

Job Requirements

 Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 6 years of solid software development experience in enterprise solutions, with expertise in both backend development and DevOps practices.
  • Proficient in Java, Python, Spring Framework, Web Services, RDBMS, NoSQL, Docker, AWS stack, Git, microservices architecture, and DevOps tools and practices.
  • Experience in diagnosing and resolving performance issues using profiler tools in both backend and DevOps contexts.
  • Familiarity with unit testing and mocking frameworks to ensure code quality in both backend development and DevOps pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and coaching team members in both backend development and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaborative environments, encompassing both backend development and DevOps processes.
  • Good knowledge or experience in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and strong team-player mentality, contributing to both backend development and DevOps initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, facilitating efficient collaboration across engineering and business functions.
