Position Summary:

The Big Data and AI Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and integration of big data platforms, analytics solutions, and AI models. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and leadership abilities to drive impactful insights and innovations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute the company’s big data, analytics, and AI strategy in alignment with business objectives.

Identify opportunities to leverage big data and AI technologies for business insights and competitive advantage.

• Technical Leadership:

Lead a team of data engineers, data scientists, and analysts in designing and implementing scalable big data and AI solutions.

Architect and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses, and AI models to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Data Analytics and Insights:

Oversee the development and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning models.

Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.

• AI Development and Integration:

Drive the development and integration of AI and machine learning algorithms into business processes and applications.

Ensure ethical AI practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business units, IT, and senior leadership, to understand data and AI requirements and deliver

solutions.

Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for big data, analytics, and AI initiatives.

Continuously optimize data processes, AI models, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Team Leadership and Development:

Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues and challenges.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in big data engineering, data analytics, AI, or related roles, with at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership capacity.

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in delivering complex data and AI projects.

• Technical Skills:

Expertise in big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).

Strong programming skills in languages like Python, SQL & Pyspark.

Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud-based big data solutions (preferably Azure).

Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and AI techniques.
