Key Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to established engineering practices to outline the necessary steps or processes for fabricating and assembling products that align with the organization's quality and cost standards.
  2. May contribute to creating innovative solutions and fresh strategies for engineering challenges to outline the steps or processes needed for product fabrication and assembly that meet the organization's quality and cost benchmarks.
  3. Contribute to the development of inventive solutions and new methodologies for engineering challenges to identify the steps or processes essential for fabricating and assembling products that adhere to the organization's quality and cost standards.
  4. Evaluate product specifications, component drawings, and other engineering documentation to establish new production processes, estimate the time required for each phase, and prepare operational guidelines.
  5. Examine current production methods and propose adjustments to work practices or operational sequences that will reduce risks, costs, and waste; enhance yields and productivity; and elevate the quality and consistency of the final products.
  6. The responsibilities listed herein are not comprehensive and will also encompass any duties assigned by the Supervisor as necessary.
  7. Process Development and Optimization: Create, develop, and enhance manufacturing processes for inductors to improve production efficiency and lower costs.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensure that manufacturing processes meet established standards and perform testing on inductors, including DC resistance (DCR) and inductance value, to confirm product reliability.
  9. Process Integration: Coordinate resources among departments (design, production, testing) to facilitate smooth production line activities.
  10. Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges that arise during production, working with relevant team members to develop solutions.
  11. New Technology Implementation: Stay updated on the latest inductor technologies and manufacturing techniques, integrating them into product development.

Job Requirements

  • Able to work at Johor Bahru
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Inductor Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of inductor principles, design, diverse applications (including power, decoupling, and high-frequency), and their characteristics.
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Knowledge of inductor manufacturing processes such as wire winding, core selection, and encapsulation techniques.
  • Materials Knowledge: Familiarity with the properties and selection standards for wire and core materials utilized in inductor fabrication.
  • Quality Assurance Skills: Skill in process quality management techniques, with the capability to perform quality assessments and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Possible requirement to use relevant engineering design software for process simulation and optimization.
  • Fresh graduate is welcome to apply
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin, English & Malay is advantage
