Marketing Intern

About The Collar Bone

The Collar Bone is a local pet lifestyle brand focused on thoughtful design and everyday essentials for pets. We are a small, growing team looking for a hands-on Marketing Intern who is eager to learn, contribute, and be involved in both online and offline brand activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, Reels, XHS)
   
• Support simple photo and video shoots for marketing use
   
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions
   
• Support basic marketing administration tasks
   
• Assist with in-store / pop-up sales and customer interactions when required
   
• Help with packing, inventory organisation, and daily operational tasks
   
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
   

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field
   
• Comfortable using social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, XHS)
   
• Creative, proactive, and willing to learn
   
• Comfortable interacting with customers and assisting in sales
   
• Able to handle miscellaneous tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
   
• Genuine interest in pets is a strong plus
   

Working Hours

• 5 days per week (11:00am – 5:00pm)
   
• Must be willing to work on weekends
   
• 2 days off per week

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, Design, or a related field
   
• Comfortable using social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
   
• Basic understanding of content creation (photos, videos, reels)
   
• Willing to assist with sales, customer interaction, and on-ground activities when required
   
• Open to handling miscellaneous and operational tasks
   
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn
   
• Able to work 5 days per week (11:00am – 5:00pm), including weekends
   
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team
   
• Must be able to handle dogs, cats and other pets
