Job Description

Segment: Corporate Sales

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team, specializing in corporate sales within the event industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new corporate clients, developing strong relationships, and promoting the company’s event services to businesses across various sectors. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and Develop Opportunities:

  •  Identify potential corporate clients through research, networking, and lead generation.
  •  Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
  •  Explore opportunities in new industries and corporate segments for event services.

Client Relationship Management:

  •  Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their event needs and objectives.
  •  Act as the key point of contact for corporate clients, providing timely follow-ups, proposals, and support.

Proposal and Presentation:

  •  Work with internal teams to develop customized event proposals for corporate clients.
  •  Deliver engaging presentations to pitch event concepts and service offerings.
  •  Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Market Research & Insights:

  •  Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and corporate event needs.
  •  Provide feedback to the team to enhance event offerings and strategies.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  •  Work closely with the event planning and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of confirmed events.
  •  Align closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns aimed at corporate clients.

Reporting & Targets:

  •  Track all sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress in CRM systems.
  •  Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall team goals.

Job Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in corporate sales, business development, or client servicing, preferably in the event industry.

Skills:

  •  Strong communication and presentation skills.
  •  Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  •  Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills.
  •  Creative thinking with the ability to match client needs with innovative event solutions.
  •  Familiarity with corporate event trends, needs, and expectations.

Others:

  •  Must possess own transport (car) for client meetings and visits.
  •  Comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if required for client meetings or industry networking events.
