Come grow your career with us.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></h2> </div><div><p>Reporting to the COE AML Investigation Tower Lead &amp; Group Head of OET, the successful candidate will lead and manage a team undertaking the following key responsibilities:</p> <p><b>Quality Review</b></p> <p>· Perform regular sampling review of transaction monitoring (TM) alerts closed by analysts, to ascertain that the investigation approach and procedures are in line with prescribed requirements and documented accordingly</p> <p>· Review and monitor key risk areas and metrics for COE TST activities, such as ensuring that alerts/UARs are reviewed and closed on a timely basis, and where applicable, preparation of suspicious transaction report (STR on a timely basis,.</p> <p>· Plan and execute periodic reviews on COE TST related processes to identify potential gaps in execution and support COE AML Investigation Tower Lead to refine processes</p> <p><b>Management Reporting</b></p> <p>· Provide daily, weekly and monthly management report on key indicators in relation to transaction surveillance activities, to facilitate management reporting and oversight</p> <p>· Provide ad-hoc support to generate statistics in relation to transaction surveillance activities, to conduct analysis and facilitate identification of concerns</p> <p><b>Governance &amp; Operational Support</b></p> <p>· Conduct ongoing update of operating procedure to ensure that process remains relevant</p> <p>· Maintain and update training materials incorporating key trends, observations and procedures, identified through reviews conducted or updates shared by Head Office</p> <p>· Plan and work with COE TST to execute training for analysts to reinforce AML knowledge and awareness of changes in trends which impacts investigations</p> <p>· Monitoring daily exception reports (such as exception reports generated from robotic process automation) to ensure that identified exceptions are addressed</p> <p>· Conduct manual alert allocation for cases which are not supported by automated processes</p> <p>· Provide support to address queries and requests from regulators, internal and external auditors</p> <p>· Supporting COE AML Investigation Tower Lead to identify potential areas for transformation/automation which will improve effectiveness and efficiency of COE TST and provide support to implement the changes</p> <p>· Escalating key areas of concerns and/or non-adherence to procedural requirements on timely basis and during regular governance forum.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></h2> </div><div><p>· Degree or professional qualification in business, banking/financial services or equivalent</p> <p>· 8 - 12 years’ experience in TM/Customer Risk intelligence/investigations related work or experience in audit/assurance</p> <p>· Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and ability to dissect complex issues related to processes and systems</p> <p>· Good knowledge/understanding of banking and financial services laws &amp; regulations, compliance best practices and understanding of financial products &amp; systems</p> <p>· Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Be a part of UOB Family</b></h2> </div><div><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.5pt"><span><span style="font-family:'Segoe UI', sans-serif"><span style="color:#242424">UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
