Key objective is to ensure good quality and smooth delivery of cards technology system enhancements that are fully in compliance with mandated framework and guidelines.</b></p> <p><br> <b>Role will involve management of project technical delivery with a view for end-to-end flow, requirements management, active engagement/participation in design and development, management of testing requirements, and planning for deployment and support.</b></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Lead, build and manage a team of system analysts and developers supporting cards platform and strategic projects across the UOB franchise.</li> <li>Champion the delivery of high quality cards systems design and ensure adherence to global architecture principles, enterprise design principles, security and control standards.</li> <li>Build the team's capabilities to consistently maintain the repository of system features inventory and data maps for the cards domain.</li> <li>Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project’s requirements within allocated budget and schedule.</li> <li>Plan &amp; collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.</li> <li>Plan, monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery.</li> <li>Lead and engage in innovative problem-solving activities, requiring conceptual thinking creating 'out of the box' solutions with prototypes and pilots.</li> <li>Partner with Architects to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards.</li> <li>Partner with Development Manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements.</li> <li>Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results.</li> <li>Manage technical implementation plan across application teams - coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post implementation support.</li> <li>Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></h2> </div><div><ul> <li>Degree qualified and must have working knowledge with LINUX/UNIX environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>At least 6 years of Delivery, Project, Stakeholder &amp; Vendor Management experience, team management.</li> <li>Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience.</li> <li>Hands-on experience on Oracle database and working knowledge in PL/SQL.</li> <li>Hands-on experience in Web servers (such as JBoss Webserver, Apache etc.) and Java platform / J2ee and Java web container (such as WebLogic, JBoss EAP, JBoss Webserver Tomcat, IBM WebSphere etc).</li> <li>Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation.</li> <li>Experience in service-oriented technologies.</li> <li>Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.</li> <li>Good to have knowledge on Devops tool like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, GIT.</li> <li>Good to have knowledge on Control M batch processing tool.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Be a part of UOB Family</b></h2> </div><div><p>UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
