This role supports the company’s digital transformation by enabling intelligent automation, scalable analytics, and data-driven decision-making across vessel and shore-based operations. &nbsp;Main responsibilities<ul><li>Design and maintain AI and automation frameworks integrated with Wilhelmsen Ship Management data platform.</li><li>Develop and manage pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and quality assurance using relevant tools within the system</li><li>Build and deploy machine learning models and automation logic that support operational use cases (e.g., vessel performance, crew planning, invoice processing).</li><li>Collaborate on the automation and data process improvement initiatives within Wilhelmsen Ship Management</li><li>Ensure AI and automation components are aligned with data governance, lineage, and access control policies.</li><li>Support the development of dashboards and monitoring tools for AI/automation performance</li><li>Document technical specifications and contribute to the Developer Handbook and internal knowledge base.</li></ul>QualificationsMandatory requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or automation roles.</li><li>Proficiency in Python, SQL, and automation tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Power Automate).</li><li>Experience with Snowflake, Azure, and MLOps practices.</li><li>Familiarity with maritime operations and vessel data systems.</li><li>Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview) and API integration.</li></ul>#WSM
