Job Purpose:- <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To assist in the supervision and smooth process flow of the Group Credit Underwriting Unit.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To provide a balanced and quality independent credit evaluation, mitigation and recommendation/approval of loans/CAs submitted by Lending Units.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Review accounts/new applications/business clerance</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To provide value-added input for operating policies relating to credit underwriting and lending products.</li> </ul> Key Responsibilities:- <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Approving of credit proposals within the delegated approving authority&nbsp;</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To ensure compliance of credit policies, risk acceptance criteria, credit underwriting standards, BNM requirement and any other relevant regulatory/governance.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To provide independent and prudent credit evaluation.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage underwriting activities of the team to meet turnaround time.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Managing the continuous flow of information and feedback to Business Unit and credit underwriter on appropriateness of lending situations, packaging of facilities, advising on skill gaps, timely reviews and credit decisions based on latest approved cases by relevant approving authority. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Facilitate necessary training (if necessary) for related credit areas.</li> </ul>
