The Opportunity
Our partner, a leading provider of claims insurance management across Australia, is seeking a dedicated Claims Compiler to join their team! Renowned for offering a comprehensive range of claim policy services, they stand out as one of the top claims insurance companies.
As the Claims Compiler, you will play a key role in evaluating claim liability, requesting necessary documentation, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims files to the Claims Supervisor, as well as maintaining high standards of documentation, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process business interruption claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms and guidelines.
- Gather and review documentation, including financial records, loss estimates, and supporting evidence.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, accountants, brokers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve inquiries.
- Investigate claims, verify coverage, and determine indemnity amounts based on policy provisions.
- Document all claim-related activities accurately in the claims management system.
- Prepare claim settlements and ensure timely follow-ups for necessary information.
- Generate reports on claims trends and performance while identifying opportunities for risk mitigation.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, internal standards, and audit criteria.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in claims handling, insurance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in claims management systems and financial software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types, and business interruption concepts.
