Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Makeup Assistant Intern to support our Makeup Artists during photoshoots, branding sessions, and client appointments. This role is ideal for individuals who want hands-on experience in beauty styling, client grooming, and studio workflow within a creative branding environment.

You will gain exposure to real client projects, understand how professional makeup contributes to brand storytelling, and learn the standards required in a fast-paced studio setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist During Makeup & Styling Sessions
  Support makeup artists during client preparations, including setup of tools, sanitizing equipment, and assisting with touch-ups during shoots.
• Model & Client Preparation
  Help prepare clients for their sessions—ensuring hair is neat, clothing is properly adjusted, and overall appearance aligns with the shoot concept.
• Studio Hygiene & Tool Management
  Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Ensure makeup brushes, palettes, and equipment are cleaned, disinfected, and stored properly after every session.
• Product & Equipment Preparation
  Assist in preparing color palettes, selecting suitable makeup tones, and arranging products according to the artist’s needs.
• Support Photoshoot Workflow
  Work closely with photographers and stylists to ensure smooth transitions during shoots—adjusting hair, accessories, and outfit details when required.
• Research Beauty Trends
  Conduct basic research on makeup trends, suitable looks for branding shoots, and styling ideas to support the team’s creative direction.
• Assist in Special Projects or Events
  Support makeup artists during branding events, corporate shoots, or marketing campaigns

Job Requirements

• Current student or fresh graduate in Makeup, Beauty, Fashion, or related fields
• Basic makeup knowledge (tools, hygiene, color matching)
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English (spoken and written) to collaborate with diverse clients and teams. 
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest in beauty, makeup, and creative styling
• Must be comfortable working with clients and handling grooming tasks
