Job Description
Avante Design is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior designs that cater to the specific needs of our clients. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
- Develop comprehensive design concepts and plans that meet the client's needs
- Prepare detailed drawings, sketches, and 3D visualisations to effectively communicate design ideas
- Oversee the implementation of interior design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies
- Contribute to the overall growth and development of the design team
Job Requirements
What we're looking for :
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the interior design industry
- Strong proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, CooHom, AutoCAD, 3DMax and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent space planning, colour coordination, and styling skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with clients
- Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative and functional design solutions
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, materials, and building regulations
