Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Develop creative design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings aligned with project requirements. 
• Translate concepts into clear construction and presentation drawings. 

Design Coordination

• Coordinate interior design elements with architectural, structural, and M&E requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
• Work closely with internal teams and consultants to resolve design and technical issues. 

Site & Project Support

• Assist in site planning, site inspections, and progress monitoring to ensure design intent is properly executed.
• Support quality control, safety, and cleanliness standards on site. 

Drawing & Documentation

• Prepare and assist in supervising construction drawings, site measurements, and verification works.
• Ensure drawings and specifications are accurate and up to date. 

3D & Visualisation

• Produce 3D visuals using 3D Studio Max to help communicate design concepts effectively.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials when required.

Material & Finishes Selection

• Select materials, finishes, and fittings that meet design, budget, and functional requirements.
• Prepare and present sample boards and material proposals. 

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and carpenters to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Participate in meetings and site discussions as required.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with other designers in the team.
• Provide guidance to junior designers when needed and contribute to a positive team environment.
   

Job Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related field. 

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant interior design experience.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max (V-Ray), and Photoshop. 

Language

• Proficient in English and Mandarin to communicate with clients and team members effectively.

Personal Attributes

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Creative yet detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability.
• Able to work independently with a positive, proactive attitude.

Work Location

• Able to work in Ara Damansara. 

Transport

• Own transport is required for site visits and meetings.
