Job Description

Most engineers ship code and hope it works. Forward Deployed Engineers at AXIUM INDUSTRIES ship code and watch it work, live, in a real customer environment, solving a real operational problem. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you will integrate enterprise data systems, configure intelligent agentic workflows, and help large enterprises across Asia transform how they run procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and logistics. You won't be answering tickets from a desk. You'll be on-site, in the details, and in the room where decisions happen.

Who thrives here: Engineers who want real responsibility early — people who get energised by ambiguity, genuinely enjoy working with customers, and are excited to grow into a senior, mission-owning role over time. If you've ever wanted your code to matter beyond a sprint review, this is that job.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

🔍 Understand customers, deeply

Work directly with enterprise customers to map out their operational context, data landscape, and systems. Help scope POCs and deployments with clear, business-value-anchored success criteria — not just technical ones.

🔗 Connect data sources to SupplyOS

Integrate ERPs, VMSs, databases, and other enterprise systems into SupplyOS. Build and maintain reliable pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and validation — and navigate customer IT teams to get authentication and access sorted.

🤖 Configure and adapt agentic workflows

Customise SupplyOS's agentic AI workflows to fit each customer's specific use case. Design simple to moderately complex workflows, and support fine-tuning of existing agents for domain-specific tasks — from procurement to inventory optimisation.

⚙️ Ship performance-sensitive systems

Implement production-quality components — including performance-sensitive work in Rust and/or C++ where relevant. Contribute to data ingestion, buffering, transformation, and real-time processing. Help build systems resilient to partial failures and messy real-world data, including in edge and IoT environments.

🚀 Take customers from POC to production

Work with Platform Engineering and DevOps to deploy SupplyOS environments. Handle post-deployment tuning, debugging, and stabilisation. You'll own the journey from early pilot through to a production-ready, running system.

💡 Make the product better for everyone

Spot recurring customer pain points and feed them back to the core product team. Contribute code, configs, and documentation to the SupplyOS platform. Share what you learn with the broader FDE and engineering teams.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with APIs, databases, and data pipelines in live environmentsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment basics
  • Comfortable working with customers and stakeholders to surface requirements
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and pick up new domains quickly
  • Some exposure to AI/ML concepts — LLMs, inference pipelines, or agentic workflows

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience integrating ERP, procurement, or supply-chain platforms
  • Working knowledge of Rust and/or C++ for performance-sensitive work
  • Exposure to edge computing, IoT systems, or industrial data acquisition
  • Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tooling
  • Experience supporting POCs, pilots, or early-stage deployments
  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
