Job Description
We’re looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Intern to join our in-house team at an event management company. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, enjoys capturing real moments, and knows how to turn events and team culture into engaging content.
You’ll be working closely with our events and creative teams to plan, create and publish content that showcases our projects, behind-the-scenes moments and company culture across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Content Planning & Strategy
- Assist in planning and managing a monthly content calendar aligned with ongoing events, campaigns and internal initiatives
- Brainstorm creative content ideas for event highlights, behind-the-scenes and team culture
- Identify trending formats, sounds and styles suitable for the brand
Content Creation
- Capture on-site content during events (photos, short videos, Reels, Stories)
- Create engaging posts showcasing completed events, setups and executions
- Produce trendy company culture content featuring the team, office moments and work-life culture
- Write captions that match each platform’s tone (professional for LinkedIn, engaging and fun for Instagram & Facebook)
Social Media Management
- Assist in posting and scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Monitor engagement and community interactions (likes, comments, DMs)
- Support basic performance tracking and insights reporting
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design or a related field
- Strong interest in social media trends, content creation and digital storytelling
- Familiar with Instagram Reels, Stories, Facebook posts and LinkedIn content formats
- Comfortable using basic editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva, or similar)
- Good command of written English (additional languages are a bonus)
- Willing to attend and assist during event days (including occasional weekends if required)
- Creative, proactive and detail-oriented
- Comfortable being on-site, capturing real-time content
- Up-to-date with current social media trends and viral format
- Team player with a positive and energetic attitude
