CHOONGCONS (PENANG) SDN BHD was established in November 1984 in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. In its early years, the company focused on the construction of residential houses and commercial buildings within Pulau Pinang.
Today, CHOONGCONS operates with a workforce of approximately 30 employees and occupies a three-storey building with a total built-up area of about 8,000 sq. ft. The office and administration area itself covers around 6,000 sq. ft. The company is strategically located at No. 17, Jalan Merican, 10400 Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.
The core business of CHOONGCONS is in residential and commercial construction, complemented by a wide range of civil, mechanical, and engineering services.

<li>To lead safety management team to meet company's safety policy and plan, Government and Local Authority safety regulations, and Clients project safety requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure safety measures and plans at construction sites are adhered to and in compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.</li>
<li>Communicate the company's safety goals and objectives to employees, vendors, subcontractors, and others.</li>
<li>Organize and chair toolbox meeting with employees, vendors, subcontractors, etc. to resolve and close any incidents, safety violations or penalties.</li>
<li>Review and update safety performance data or indicators in the Management Review meetings, Site Progress meeting, etc.</li>
<li>Provide or recommend a continual improvement plan for the safety policy, objectives and goals.</li>
<li>Coordinate and lead the Emergency Response Team during accident and/or emergency situation to bring the matters under control and resolve the matter.</li>
<li>Coordinate and conduct accident / incident investigations and follow up on any actions taken to close the investigations.</li>
<li>Consult and communicate on safety and health matters, disseminate safety information, and implement feedback and suggestions from employees, authorities, and consultants.</li>
<li>Coordinate and organize a safety incentive program to encourage awareness, compliance, and strict adherence at project / construction sites for productive, incident-free, and timely project completion.</li>
<li>Any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
