The Fraud Ops Specialist is an entry level position responsible for completing thorough risk assessments when reviewing account activity while also delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. Early fraud detection is critical in minimizing financial impact as well as protecting our client’s account and identity. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review and perform short- and long-term forecasting analysis and standardized fraud analysis.</li><li>Make judgments based on practice and precedence, and work within guidelines, under general supervision.</li><li>Develop and maintain working knowledge of business/industry standards and practices.</li><li>Identify inconsistencies in data or results, and exchange information in a concise and rational method.</li><li>Escalate any concerns or issues to the Manager. Provide feedback and recommendations on the next course of action in relation to Fraud Risk Assessment.</li><li>Build strong relationships with peers. Demonstrate fundamental understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.</li><li>Impact the business directly through the quality of the tasks/services provided.</li><li>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by adhering to Policy, rules and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting issues with transparency.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Relevant experience in a related role.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated analytical skills.</li></ul> Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience</li></ul> This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
