Job Description

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Leasing Manager to oversee the leasing activities for our retail, commercial, and residential property portfolio. This role requires strong market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term tenant relationships. You will be responsible for driving occupancy, maximizing rental yield, and ensuring smooth coordination across internal departments and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis on rental trends, occupancy rates, and competitor developments to support pricing and leasing strategies.
   
• Develop and execute leasing and marketing strategies to attract quality tenants and maximize property performance.
   
• Manage the full leasing cycle — from prospecting, viewings, negotiations, drafting proposals, contract execution, and tenant onboarding.
   
• Build and maintain a strong tenant database, handle renewals, and monitor lease terms to ensure timely follow-up.
   
• Maintain accurate documentation including tenancy agreements, reports, and leasing records.
   
• Engage with real estate agents, landlords, tenants and business partners to secure tenancy opportunities and foster professional relationships.
   
• Negotiate lease terms and commercial conditions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance.
   
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including project development, fit-out, marketing, finance, legal, credit control and operations.
   
• Support new store openings, renovations, and handover processes.
   
• Handle ad-hoc leasing, tenant coordination, and administrative tasks as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
   
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate (office/retail/commercial preferred).
   
• Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship-building skills.
   
• Excellent communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
   
• Strong analytical ability with experience in rental benchmarking and tenancy planning.
   
• Organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
   
• Independent, resourceful, and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
   
• Able to work effectively with people at all levels.
   
• Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.
