Job Description

We are looking for a Site Safety Supervisor / Safety and Health Officer to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety and health policies on site, ensuring all operations comply with relevant regulations and company safety standards. The ideal candidate should have more than one year of experience in construction site safety management, possess good communication skills, and be able to communicate in Chinese to coordinate effectively with Chinese-speaking supervisors and workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor site safety, health, and environmental programs according to statutory requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective measures.
• Ensure workers comply with safety regulations and use PPE properly.
• Prepare safety reports, risk assessments, and incident investigation documents.
• Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for site workers.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and authorities on safety-related matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the site.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in site safety or health management (construction or engineering background preferred).
• Possess valid Safety and Health certification (e.g., Site Safety Supervisor Certificate / SHO Registration recognized by DOSH).
• Familiar with local safety regulations and documentation procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently on site.
• Must be willing to work at construction sites.
• 具备一年及以上现场安全或健康管理经验，有建筑或工程背景者优先。
• 持有有效的安全与健康管理相关证书（如Site Safety Supervisor证书 / DOSH注册SHO）。
• 熟悉本地安全法规与安全文件管理流程。
• 具备良好的沟通与协调能力。
• 会讲中文（普通话）者优先考虑。
• 工作积极主动，责任心强，能独立完成现场管理任务。
• 能适应工地工作环境。
